These terms are a draft and have not been reviewed by a lawyer. They describe accurately how the service actually behaves, which is a better starting point than a template, but they are not a substitute for advice on the law where you and your clubs are.
Assist Your Coach is video analysis, tactics and session planning software for sports clubs. These terms are between the club that subscribes and us. By using the service you agree to them.
Everything in the service belongs to a club. Accounts are created within a club, and what a person can see and change is decided by the club they are in and the role they hold. A club administrator runs their own club, admits members and manages the subscription.
You are responsible for what is done with accounts at your club, including keeping sign-in details to the people they belong to. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been taken over.
Clubs upload match footage and information about players, including minors. You confirm that you have the permissions you need to do so under the law where you are, and that you have told the people concerned — or their parents or guardians — what you are recording and why. We provide the software; the lawful basis for the footage is the club’s.
Do not upload anything unlawful, anything you do not have the right to share, or anything that identifies a person who has asked you not to.
A club that signs up gets one free month, with everything switched on. No card is required to start it. When the month ends the club is not charged and not deleted: it becomes read-only, as described in section 5.
Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly, in advance, per club. Prices are shown at /pricing in your own currency and include any tax that applies where you are. Paying yearly costs the same as ten months.
What a club pays for is coaching accounts. Athlete accounts are unlimited and are never counted. If your plan covers a number of coaching accounts, adding one beyond that number requires changing the plan first.
Payments are handled by Paddle, who are the merchant of record — meaning Paddle is the seller on your receipt, takes the payment, and handles the sales tax or VAT. Your contract for the transaction itself is with Paddle, and their terms apply to it alongside these. Paddle, and not our name, is what appears on the club’s bank or card statement.
If a payment fails, or a subscription is cancelled, or a trial ends, the club becomes read-only. That means:
Nothing is deleted for non-payment. A club can sit read-only indefinitely and lose none of its work, and settling the subscription restores it in full.
A club can cancel at any time from its own billing screen, which opens Paddle’s customer portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the club keeps full use until the period it has already paid for ends, and then becomes read-only. See Refunds and cancellation.
Your footage, your tactics, your reports and your player records are yours. We do not claim ownership of them and do not sell them. We hold them in order to run the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
The software itself, and everything in it that is not your content, remains ours.
We aim to keep the service running and to lose nothing, but it is provided as it is, without a guaranteed level of uptime. Keep your own copies of footage you cannot afford to lose.
We may suspend or end access where a club breaks these terms — in particular where content has been uploaded that should not have been. Where we can, we will say what is wrong and give you a chance to put it right first.
We may change these terms. Where a change materially affects a paying club, we will say so by email rather than leaving it to be noticed, and it will not apply to a period already paid for.
